Making the Grade: PediSpa Gentle Exfoliating Foot Mask

It is officially open toed shoe season. Yes! And then the excitement slowly disappears as you peer down and look at your poor excuse for feet. It has been a while since they have seen the light of day and they need some loving. A pedicure is your first thought to make sure they are looking fresh. However, not matter how much you pay, your dry cracked heels will not be banished.

Then a magic sock was discovered at Target stores only. This magic sock is the Gentle Exfoliating Foot Mask by Look Beauty ($10). This foot mask will literally rejuvenate your dry, cracked feet. In each box there is one pair of “socks.” They do not necessarily look like your traditional socks, but plastic elf booties. On clean, dry feet, you put the booties on, and in a little over an hour the changes will start to happen. It is best to stay stationary while your feet are marinating in the special potion, say with a good Netflix binge. After time has passed you rinse them off. One would think nothing happened. However, the package clearly says that within four to seven days your calluses begin to peel. It looks as if you had a bad sunburn and your skin starts to peel. Within the following ten to fifteen days all calluses and dry skin are gone. No pedicure can achieve that. No awkward pumicing in the shower can do that. Gone are the days of rough heels!

Final Grade: A+
